 Tiger Reiki was initially channeled by Korey Long
and has been re-channeled by Lisa Center and Jens
Soeberg. The initial energy was used by "intent"
only (no symbols or manual).
The
system has since been expanded to include the
symbols and additional practices.
According to the
founders, Tiger Reiki helps to balance both
practitioners and recipients. It is an
excellent adjunct to meditation and can age a sense
of "aggressiveness" in work when using the energy
for healing. It is; however, also very
soothing as well.
Tiger Reiki is a
powerful energy due to it's connection with the
tiger and also because of it's symbolism.
Tigers have an
important place in mythology as well as world
religions and regions. Buddhists consider the
tiger to be a symbol of spiritual illumination, due
to the tiger's keen ability to see in the dark.
An image of a tiger walking through a bamboo forest
represents the human soul which is strengthened by
faith as it struggles through the Forest of 3D Human
life.
In Chinese mythology and symbolism, the tiger is the
King of the Beasts.
The ancient Chinese also believed that the tiger had the
power to fight off demons. In Tiger
Reiki, these can be internal or external demons, but
the main focus is healing internal
demons. Tiger Reiki brings grace, strength, and
nobility to the recipient and practitioner.
